Hello !!
I am going to Australia for some Inspection of some vessels inn Fremantle

Are there any Audi people living inn that area ?

Or do anybody know something interesting to do / see inn that area ?

I live in Perth, about 16Km from Freo. I don't have an Audi out here though! I would be quite happy to meet up, I'm not sure I could show you much, I live here to work rather than be a tourist.

Fremantle is lovely and is only 30mins Perth, take a drive along Sunset Drive which is the. Coast road and is stunning, take a boat ride out to the island which is a good way to spend the day. Another good day is to take one of the Swan River winery tours, they are good fun and laid back and the wine is cheap and good. Also in Perth head down to the Lucky Shag for a beer !!

Just a word of warning Perth is expensive and they are strict on speed limits

How long are you here for and will you have a car?
If you have a few days free you could head south of Perth to the Maragret River area for a couple of days.

In and around Perth and Freo, Andy's ideas are all good. The island is Rottnest which is good for a day trip and its worth taking a mask and snorkel with you.

In Fremantle: Little Creatures Brewery is a great place for a few beers and pizza; there's a maritime museum if you're into ships (not been there myself); and the old convict built prison is now open for tours which are pretty fascinating.. A lot of the tour guides are ex prison guards.

In and around Perth there's plenty of bars to explore in the city centre (and yes eating and drinking out here is very expensive); also Mount Lawley has a great strip of bars and restaurants along Beaufort St; Kings Park; and some of the nicest beaches you'll find anywhere, my pick of beaches would be Cottesloe, City Beach and the stretch of coast between Trigg and Hillarys.

I can give you some more detailed tips if you let me know what you're more likely to be interested in (eg, Drinking spots, eating, national parks, beaches, general sight seeing, etc).

I will be staying about 10 days maximum , i will stay at Esplanade hotel .
Not sure if i will renta a car , depends off how much i have to work , i guess i will be hanging around the hotell in south Fremantle most off the time .
