  • Aan Inlet On 3b

Hi I'm thinking of putting an AAN inlet manifold on my 3b coupe any thoughts on this?

Yup, I am in the process of doing it to my 3b, gives a shorter intake.

    Off the top of my head;

    AAN intake manifold
    AAN water manifold
AAN fuel rail (and a clip in 3 bar fpr to replace the AAN 4 bar one as a 3B is 3bar)
AAN dipstick (I might try bending mine )
    Extend wiring loom
    Sort ISV plumbing
    Rad plumbing
Modify/make rad shrouds (or just ditch them)

Move the radiator out of the way; angle it with a slimline fan, or fit a shorter rad, eg honda fiesta etc.

I did this to my motor. Moved the throttle body to the front so the radiator can stay in the standard location. The main issue is the PAS pump. The AAN inlet leaves no room for the pump. I moved the pump down and forwards and run a single belt for PAS and alternator. This has proved to be a bit of a weak link, so I'm going to make another with a revised location for the throttle body.

i also moved the throttle on my b2 with AAN engine so the radiator can stay and moved my servopump to the bottom

but you must adapt a few things like:
        -iac
        -one way valve from crankcaseventilation
        -throttlecable
        -dipstick
        -n80 valve
-wires from iac, throttle switch,n80 valve and a few groundcables i think
        -intercooler or tubes
        -a few small tubes
        -maybe watermanifold under the intake

        good luck
