Yours will not be a magnesium block, that I can assure you of, if it was you would knowi didnt know they did them in magnessuim ,wow, the block i have is meant to be one of the last , it was due to be used in the imsa audis in 1988 then apparently its was put to one side to be made into a 2000cc unit but never finished, how can i tell if my block is magnessuim
already, you would have to had a letter from god to obtain it etc etc.
There were some made but never made it into any production cars, just teasing you with the thought

You're going to have fun balancing the knife edged crank if it wasn't done at the same time as the rods and pistons, last customer that brought me one already done I had to cut big corners of it with a grinder to bring it back into balance.
Did you get titanium alloy rods? They're really light be equivalent of running 3 h-beam rods normal weight.
Also piston wise if staying v low power like you are I'd go mahle powerpack pistons. They're the lightest option.UrS6 Stroker + HTA3586 =

Rebuild Questions
I have a few questions JPMains Bearings Thrust and Sputter Big Ends from kolbe schmidt - Where's best to buy them from?
Bottom End Conversion set from victor reinz/elring - Where's best to buy them from? And what does it consist of?
Lastly as the I5 engine is an externally balanced percentage based rotating assembly if you are changing rods and pistons you will need to rebalance - What do you mean by this, how do you rebalance?
Cheers
