I wondered what those pins were too when I stripped my underbody. Maybe it was used to hold the chassis somehow during manufacture?

where abouts are they, not sure i have stumbled over them whilst on my back with the underside rubbing my nose

doing the same thing as you ware doing...
cant understand it.. its covered with oem underseal... so whats the story behind it?

Are they mounting points for fuel line or something similar? I've seen similar fitted to another car

on a lhd car the fuel lines go the other way...dont know about the rhd...

They serve no purpose on RHD either.
