hi all right the audi is spot on apart from the fuel gauge dont work the needle has dropped well below the empty mark leading me to belive the gauge is foooked
any way someone in the past has had the sender units out and neglected the rubber seal
to cut a long story, the car cut out with random misfire i checked the left tank and it was 1/2 full so i replace the coils that has been rubbed by the pas pump car ran great once again...
car passed it mot today so decided to try it home...
after 10 miles i swung right round a round`a`bout and the car miss fired once again...
after a futher two miles the car cut out like it was out of fuel again left tank 1/2 full ummm...
there is a balance pump is there not that maintains the level in the two tanks
are these the cause of the gauge or is the gauge affecting the balance pumps
any one have any similar problems
