C5 A6 2.5 tdi V6 - cheapest remap?

I've got a 161 bhp diesel A6 with 180k miles on the clock. It goes ok, but it'd be a lot better with 200 bhp!

Is there a cheap way to map these engines? I don't want to spend a lot of money as the car is getting old anyway.. although I suppose I could always sell the ECU as a remapped unit when/if the car dies.

Are the ECUs swappable between cars? I noticed you can pick up a stock ECU on eBay for £60..

yes very easy to swap,if you have vcds its literally a 2 minute job

there is a bloke on ebay from czech rep who is cheap and good,I will try and find his email address for you

That'd be great - is the deal you send him an ECU, he remaps it and sends it back?
