Car Parts Furnature........ new venture!

evening people

im going to start making car parts into furnature, for myself first of all then to sell on.

do you have any ideas YOU would be interested in purchasing?

i.e rear seats made into sofas, wheels converted to clocks, engine into tables/wine racks (i will have these lighting up)

instrument clusters into alarm clocks has also been suggested in a binnacle.......

i know its a bit neiche but its an itch i need to scratch and just taken on space in a workshop so im commited now lol!

id be happy to look for feedback on ideas and what you would be prepared as an outlay for something like this.

i will try to keep everything model related,

i.e rear seats from a Cosworth, Golf, Audi S2 Coupe/Avant, B5 S4/RS4 and so on

And engines i would like to have an option of them rotating when turned on, cambelts and pulleys turning etc, maby function of the lighting might be glowing on the SPARK event of the engine cycle.

what are your thaughts?

id be undertaking items upon being commissioned for things like that though,

the dash cluster alarm clocks seem to be a big hit in the Ford world so far, nice size, keeps the wifes happy and not too expensive at under £200 done hopefully with various functions

Here is an idea for you, piston ash trays. The 7A pistons would be ideal with there flat bottom.

For years I have wanted to turn a cabriolet into an outside entertainment unit....

The inside being a jacuzzi, the inside of the boot a BBQ and under the bonnet a sound system and bar.

I did this sort of thing about 15 years ago
Recaro office chairs before they were popular (easy, use a normal office chair base) mine reclined and moved forward/back on the base
Did a top great style 3 piece from an old BMW 7 series interior
Couple of coffee tables from some 13"x15" drag wheels someone gave me
All had to be thrown when g friend moved in
Should have kept them instead of her, but I've got rid of her too now
