Whatever its worth,before this severe financial crash and even more now if you sell something on ebay on open auction and you make it available worldwide and its a very desirable car part my experience selling BMW 2002 parts if mint or new as in my case has pretty much shown 80% of the time the item goes abroad. I am into high fi and if I want to very occaisionally sell say a quad 606 power amp or an Audiolab preamp or Dac I get inundated with traders from Europe and Malaysia can they bid.Very often they don't ask,they just bid to win and then you find out too late. Good buyers here are thin on the ground but buyers from Germany and elsewhere have much more desposible cash to spend there money on.

Take Audibits 2 (Lockerbie) everything he sells is worldwide.I spoke with him on the phone a few months ago and he says the reason Why S2 front bumpers sell for so much is because the US buyers are keeping the price up on open auction because the car and obviously the bumper was never imported into the States.
