Car Show Tonight

Hi Guys on my way home there was a big car gathering at the McDonalds carpark at the Metrocentre Gateshead tonight which I didn't know was on so dropped in and had a good mooch about for an hour or so and took some photos heres a few mostly American Muscle:

interesting yes that cobra is looking good. where did all the American muscle come from in the NE... I have only ever seen 1 mustang.

No idea Jonnaz it was pure luck I was going past this and noticed all the cars!! Best cars there were the Cobra and the Navy Mustang simply stunning

That show is on every second Wednesday of the Month. People start getting there before 5 and it tends to run to after eight/nine. It stops for a few months over winter as it's too dark.
It's been running for a lot of years.

Thought it was a once a year activity I might gets there next month with the S2 I've seen it a few times over the years certainly draws a big crowd! You also get some knackers turning up in there heaps of crap thinking they great because they've shoved on some big wheels when in reality they look like idiots lol

Add a new event on the gathering events and see if we can get a regular presence there.

Some really well looked after motors there too.

There is a similar event that happens near Preston on the first Friday of the month....lots of big yank cars and a mixture of vehicles such as big Germsn vehicles that cannot be run as a daily motor...it's free and on a pub car park ...beer/ food/cars/women...its on the Google it for images and a general idea of a good night away from the misses on a hot summers night...

I saw that Mustang convertible (V8 USB) at a little show in Washington the other weekend. Looked nice, but not really a fan of the new ones....

made me laugh when it started to rain, cos he had to run and start the engine to get the roof up!!
