Had an A5 3.0q Tdi Coupe for about 20 months. Was a tiptronic. All these cars have a dpf

If you go for manual, 1st gear is almost redundant and you may not like the offset pedals. One of the reasons I went for the auto.
Usually averaged around 37-38mpg. If you really use the performance you'll barely break 30mpg.

DSG gearbox cars arrived in 2010 around March / April time. These need a gearbox service every 40k miles.

Mine had 20" wheels which look great but ride does suffer. I'd recommend 19" y spokes as a compromise although check them for cracks. Very few S-Line cars come with S-Line suspension, they're mostly sport which is very firm.

For resale you need Xenons, satnav and leather as a minimum. Sunroof is best to avoid. It creaks in the winter and only pops up - no slide option.
