              They are wasps but what i dont understand is how they are getting in there as the doors always feel like they close nice and snug...

                  Wasps chew through most things. They have eaten my front door, most likely to get material to build a nest elsewhere. They might have eaten through your rubber seal. Seems a strange place to make home though.

                      Pretty common around here. Find them in almost all my cars at least once during the summer. That is a big one.

                          your seals don't seal that part of the door. that is inbetween, unsealed my friend
