Can anyone recommend a courier from UK to Russia for a front and rear bumper please. Google search gives many but would like some first hand opinions from anyone who's sent car parts.

Iirc you can only send things by courier to a business address
This was a couple of years ago,not sure if it has changed or with the recent ban on certain Uk imports to there you may find it has got harder. -

My own experience of sending to Russia is do not bother with large , bulky or expensive items.There are different allowances on the value of items that can be imported, mine was a new diesel pump that was rejected as its value was around £500, so i paid for the part to have a week away & paid for its return.
I would suggest that your buyer makes enquiries via a freight forwarding company & they can make there own customs declarations & also have the headaches if they want the parts that badly.

Actually people in RF often have problems with parcels which are more expensive than ~~250Eur. If the lot is new and the price is declared without scheming. Many people ask seller to sent wheels separately (customs clearing).
Custom Auto Craft refuses to send exhaust parts to Russian Federation because of some customs issues (clearing needed).
... I look at S2 bumpers on this forum for sale and don't even dream of buying one. It can happen to be absolutely unaffordable for me even if smb agrees to send it out.Comment
