    Rs2 Mpg

I thought I'd post the mpg my RS2 achieved this week. The Merc was in for a big service so I took the RS2, didn't rag it, and it did 249 miles on 38 litres of fuel! Mustn't be driving it right........

That's roughly 30 mpg I can achieve this on a long run, depends if it's stock or chipped. I've found chipped is better on fuel than stock when you stick to a steady 70mph.
I've tried most chip sets, in s2 and rs2 spec, the best mpg I ever has was on a standard s2 turbo with home fry I drove from Plymouth to ipswitch and back and got 34mpg!

From a tank of gas (I drive my RS2 daily) I get between 400-420kms to a tank. That normally lasts me 2 weeks?
On a road trip I can get around 530kms to a tank. The car is standard.

The best I had on my rs2 was 24mpg taking it easy! Average was 19-22. That was chipped so 30 is amazing!

Haha that is some stopping! Think mine is MTM chipped as it has 337 bhp. Having said that I am sure I can get the mpg down if I try

The best I have managed is 578kms on one tank of 100octane driving back from Austria through Switzerland at a steady 100kph because it was LASHING down with rain!

I get between 24 and 25 mpg in my standard rs2. I wouldn't say that i'm always taking it easy though so this is pretty good for the fun I have
