Parceforce International taking more than 40 days

Guys has anyone sent a package from UK to USA or abroad and taken more than 40days to arrive?

I've been waiting for an item purchased from a member on the forum since the 25th of July. The tracking was last scanned on their system on the 28th. Since it was the least expensive service no more information is provided.

Im staying hopeful it will eventually arrive but curious if this is typical?
    Cheers mis amigos,

I posted some brake pads to Germany beginning of July..
Still not there and as same service no tracking for them (that's if the buyer is truthful)
I ve put in a claim with post office (needs doing in 120 days)
Takes the pee really at £25 for postage and lost/not delivered parcel, and of course as eBay/paypal always side with buyer ill probably get shafted for sale price back

Anton, its the same the other way....I ordered some bits from San Diego and it took 2 months....its more likely down to extra checks and customs sitting on their hands for a few weeks before looking at your car bits....and then they charge import duty and customs handling fees!!....they still aren't as bad as UPS....

Yea paypal... what a company! Folks are being rewarded for bad business behavior. They can hide behind the computer and bendy rules of ebay and paypal

Well thanks for the response. Im going to cross my fingers and hope this item arrives. You guys do have it worst with VAT and customs to deal with.
        Cheers mis amigos,

I sold a cabriolet rear light section on ebay and it took over 60 days to get to the guy in Australia.Did it go by ship as opposed to the airmail i paid for,who knows but it took over 60 days. Damn it he couldn't even leave me any feedback for my efforts

Sold a camera lens via ebay to a guy in th US and he kept asking me where his lense was.He finally got that 6 weeks after i posted it.That was probably due American customs i am afraid to say.Because of 9/11 and all the Jihadist crap going on they check everything now......hence the severe hold ups. So it could still turn up.

Use DHL, FedEx or UPS. Record is 3 days... Doesn't help this time though

Royal Mail have list 2 sets of dials I've sent to the US, both times with their mist expensive, tracked service. Avoid.

                Parcel

We'll I've just had the parcel delivered back to me!
                No note or explanation
Parcel in same condition as was sent in.
Taken 2 months to go to Germany and back at a cost of £23!
So what do I do now?
Refund buyer and be out the postage, send again and risk it getting lost? Plus the postage price again!?
                Or claim?
                Idiots!

Parcelforce is a joke, took 2 weeks from UK to Sweden (and it´s final destination northen Sweden), and 8 Days from Heathrow to Malmo !!! just that route shouldnt take more then one hour or so...

Royal Mail delievers in 3-5 Days Always from UK to North of Sweden... and when shipping from the US and A I Always use FedEx, USPS works but FedEx is fast...

Go cheap then prepare to lose.

We always use UPS or FedEx for our international postage and they are tracked all the way.

If the customer wants a cheaper service then they arrange their own courier to keep it simple.

It's actually very rare for something to get lost altogether.
