You will hate having to remove it every time you drive.

It is a minor hassle, but it is by far the best one out there. I have three of them, one for each car.

Make sure you get an air bag version if you buy one.
I had one in my wrx impreza years ago
Pain to put on n off and a heavy missile that gets thrown around the interior if
you drive quickly but a good visual deterrent

why not use a locking bar....I have for years, its relatively light and easy to put on/take off and stow away behind the front seat or in passenger footwell and has the deterrent factor ...yeah you can if you had the time and tools, get it off the wheel, but I'm alarmed & immobilised too so I'm confident that they won;t get to start it for too long to make it worth a casual joyriders while . As you know, I also never have more than a tenners worth of gas in it so they wouldn't get far if they did a throwback to owning old 70s motors in my youth .... I know ( cos I lived there ) that Bolton is up there in the car theft charts, but look where I live ! And I've never had a take-away attempt yet ( my worst fear is a window smash ...and the bar will usually deter that too )

The bar is way better than nothing, but an experienced thief will remove it within 15 seconds or so, while it will take the same guy 15 minutes or so to remove the Disklok, especially if he/she has no previous experience with them.

I've taken to removing the fuel pump relay if I park somewhere slightly dodgy, take's seconds and should stop most drive away thefts.

I used to remove the steering wheel completly from my Corrado VR6 when I lived in Cardiff, I'm sure it saved the car as I found it open one morning with a hole in the drivers door below the handle.
