hi guys,just finished work on front end. new shocks,springs,discs, calipers etc, 18" avus mk ones. and now busy on rear end doing the same. question? do the wheels look too big, or would originals be better. standard springs, b6 bilstiens. cheers.

That looks simply stunning!!
I think it looks top notch but there is the argument about the weight difference between the lighter 16" and the 18" Avus alloys.

Looks good to me. I'd say 18" is the limit though for the 80/coupe/avant, for both looks and function.
If I was being picky I'd say the front could go a bit lower. But that's certainly a nice look, and a nice example.Comment

3B's are one of the best audi wheels ever made, especially when detailed. I prefer them to the 16" avus. If they'd made the 3B in an 18" it'd be the best by a mile.Comment

but that is seriously nice
it really is a shame Audi didn't do the Avus in 17" from the factory, saying that the S8's win hands down every time IMO
