Tax disc binned

[campbellWS]

In there this morning

Just spotted another car rocking the clean screen....dub boys will be spurting....

As thousands of ebay tax disc holder sellers cry out in terror

[maddagent]

well we still have to display an MOT disc, so no completely clean screens for us in NI for a while yet (if they ever move our MOT system totally online that is!)

Had the screen changed in early Sept so not had one since then. No way I was going to stick stuff all over screen for a few weeks.

Need to bin the one in the A6 too. Only trouble is I reckon the un informed will simply start reporting loads of un taxed cars. I left my S2 in the church car park and it got reported as dumped as no tax disc. Granted that was before the rule change this morning but I bet those that reported ithave no idea the law has changed.

The DVLA got rid of their 'report an untaxed vehicle' phone line a year or two back for this very reason. The majority of calls coming in were regarding vehicles that were taxed but were not displaying

The DVLA now have an online VRN tax checker

Mine ran out end of Sept had a feeling it was gonna be chaos so did it a few weeks back

Feel like leaving the Sept one in just to see what happens

Didn't bother putting mine on either car since about June lol.

Still got to display my residents parking permit in mine... so no clean look for me.

A little less clutter though :-)
