    Guy Martin's Spitfire

    Just a heads up to anyone interested. Guy martin has a new program on Channel 4 next Sunday at 7:30pm. Not sure if its a one off or a series. Should be good though i liked his previous shows.

          If only someone made a engine for a car that sounded like the original merlin v12, I would be all over that

                          He's great...but needs to do something with them sideburns. It's almost as if he were born 100 years too late. Definitely love his enthusiasm! It's telly so god knows what's real and what's put on. Will be watching the show for sure.

                              Even before these run of shows, there was interview of him during various IOM TT / bike documentaries years ago and he spoke exactly the same way.

                                  To me,he is the more modern version of Fred Dibnah. A right proper Lancashire lad he was again born too late.

                                      He sounds like a lanky but he's from north Lincolnshire. But you have to respect him for his bike riding skills at the TT alone.

                                              What a great program this was. An hour and a half of history, engineering, hard graft, goosbumps, Spitfire and a bit of Guy Martin to keep you entertained. Hats off to everyone building/flying these back in the day.
