    RS2,d coupe v b5 RS4

Toddling along on my private road to day in my RS2,d 3b. Came to a 2 lane junction turning right when an rs4 came charging round the out side lane to go straight, then cut right in front.
Took the junction on to the main runway with me following as you can imagine. Puff of smoke from the RS4, pedal to the floor on mine. To my surprise the coupe just had the legs on him. I was about to pass him on the out side, but he came across an cut me of.
I pulled the same tactic at the next junction and restored the situation.
I was surprised to see an RS4 in this neck of the woods, and even more surprised At the pace of the coupe against it. Must be down to PRJ mapping.

I've had similar experience of just having the legs on an B5 RS4 in my coupe (K26 Hybrid and MTM stage 1, so not exactly mega tuned) I wondered if it was badged incorrectly or maybe he was just not quite giving it as much as he could. I guess they are quite heavy or maybe he had some running issues. I know for sure that my S2 is more than a match for B5 S4's. Surprised quite a few the last coupla three years.

If you are in the right gear and prepared to push it, these cars really do compete against much more modern machines.
