Yes it's a circuit-days organised day on the GP circuit. £219.

          £250 with trackdays.co.uk

Handy site that one you linked, they want an extra £30 for a garage as well

            Trackdays.co.uk is also £219 for the day +£30 for a garage... http://www.trackdays.co.uk/book/cartrackday/7362/

Only difference is trackdays.co.uk is a middle-man whereas circuitdays are the TDO, or the track-day organiser who will be the ones renting the circuit from Silverstone.

If the prices are that cheap we should be creating our own events

They're that cheap because 1) it's pretty much winter, so completely off season and limited demand and 2) because they'll be paying £20k upfront or something to hire the whole circuit with the assumption that they'll sell at least 100 places to break-even.

I got the price in a email news letter, either way it's a cheap track day at silverstone GP. November is not the end of the world. January and February on the other hand.....

Maybe we should have a S2 forum track day?

Oh yeah absolutely... i was only having a look around because usually if its on trackdays.co.uk or something you can find it a bit cheaper directly with the TDO

October/November is a great time to head out on track because its usually cheap as chips and you're rocking if you get a clear spell, if not, well some of the most fun i had on track was in the torrential rain following a 996 turbo... quattro works wonders, whilst all the hardcore chaps packed up their racecars with slick tyres
