I know these eBay auctions, they just raise the price when the item is out of stock and return to the normal price again when the item is back in stock.

I made a cheeky offer of £4800 on it just to test the water and got the reply that it had already been sold. A deposit has been taken and the buyer is due to settle the £7000 bid on the 20th. He's already got someone else in line if this deal falls through.
I spoke to the dealer and he seemed very genuine and knew his stuff.
