Hi, I've just insured my RS2. I paid the thick end of 16k for it so my insurer is asking for a professional valuation from a 'Club Car Official, Valuer, or Specialist Dealer'. Can anyone tell me where to turn to find such a 'being'?

Not sure if this helps but this is where I got my RS2 insurance from, they are sponsors of the forum too, and they didn't grumble when I told them about all the upgrades, and I paid a little more than you too, they were happy with that...

I did mine through a chap called David Preece from DLC Mortgage & Insurance Specialists (Tel: 01531 633511. Email: dave@dlcmortgages.co.uk). Really knowledgeable guy who knows the S2/RS2 and he arranged the AV insurance through a company called Higos Insurance Services Ltd. Had to do the usual list of items the car has had replaced/upgraded and sent him various photo's and narratives to back up the condition and value claim. From memory I came to an agreed value of 18.5K and the process was fairly painless for the peace of mind the agreed value offers.

the survey/valuation has to be done in person so I said I'd be happy to drive, a pleasure even, but yeah, on my doorstep rather than halfway across the country is a fine turn of events...
