    Audi TT MK1 Convertible

Has an Audi TT MK1 Convertible got a telescopic steering wheel?
Could barely get into one yesterday, realistically speaking i didn't get in.

Had the seat right back, tilted to the bulkhead and down as far as i thought it went. Adjusted the steering column upwards till it hit the dash so no more movement in that direction.
I never thought about the possibility of a telescopic column which might partially solve the problem.

Is it possible to fit smaller steering wheels? This car had an airbag.

I didn't fit in, that was the problem!!
Surely they can't be that small inside??

I don't mind driving in a snug position but i couldn't even get past the steering wheel to get in. It was only afterwards i thought maybe i'd been doing something wrong and the column might be telescopic.

The new ones have a bigger cabin as I was in TTS a few weeks back and that was nice and quick! You might be better off trying the limited edition TT sport 240 bhp model out on a 55 plate ltd edition its only a seater so the seats might go further back???

I think with it being a convertible the rear seat movement is limited to the bulkhead. Either way, without a telescopic column it's a poor design by audi.
