    Fuel prices

Just put £20 fuel in and I'm at half a tank !

Super unleaded is £1.11 here currently, could we get to sub £1 ?

You could almost justify an s2 then !

£1/13 for tesco 99 earlier in the week....sub £1 would be fantastic, not least as the S2 is on daily driver duty just now

Was £1.10 for 99 octane at Tesco Dundee today, gave the RS2 a whopping £50 now mostly used...

Although the price of fuel is great, and getting better, the price per barrel of oil is terrifying from an economic point of view.

I noticed the other day that Super Unleaded does not seem to be going down at one of my local stations. It is great for the daily though. £25 of derv keeps the little Leon going for ages at the moment.

The oil/as industry is suffering big time though. Peaks and troughs though.

However, if the price of a barrel has dropped so much, why isn't it something like 75pence already. You watch it rocket when the price of brent goes back up.

I'll be tempted to get a V8 at this rate
For what this cost me so far I could have bought an S2

Something i mentioned a few weeks ago.

Quite agree......when the price goes up they will match it per day for the increase. How else does BP pay the billions of pounds fine the US government fined them over the oil catastrophe in the Gulf of Mexico. BP do it by ripping us of.Only problem is i like their BP Ultimate diesel which locally to me in £1.26 a ltr.

Surprising that OPEC haven't cut output really, it's all just a ploy to undermine the viability of fracking apparently:

                        http://www.businessweek.com/articles...-65-per-barrel

It does make 22mpg much more affordable though, so no complaints here with my lead right foot.
