7.5t transporter self drive - Birmingham

Need a bit of help here. I may need to transport a non-roadworthy 1967 Ford Galaxie 500 from Wrexham to Birmingham quite soon but I can't find anyone local to Brum that rents out these transporters. I've found loads of places hiring standard box vans and curtainsiders but no flatbed transporters. The car is a bit of a beast at 5 1/2m long and 1 1/2t undladen so a 3.5t van won't do.

Anyone had experience with this kind of move before who could recommend somebody?

    Use shiply instead
    Far less hassle
Or look on eBay -plenty recovery firms -find one where the car is-maybe cheaper travelling one way

If you get stuck, I can ask the guy who delivers our caravans to us. He occasionally does runs from the Factory in Bristol to way up North, and maybe on his way back??
He's got an Man flat-bed thats big enough to carry a twin-axle caravan, so size/weight wont be a prob.

I know someone at Whitchurch with a trailer.
          Not that far from Wrexham.
He carries 2 range rovers at a time

Try urban recovery, theyre based in Birmingham and have loads of big trucks. If you're flexible on what dates it can be picked up it'll be a lot cheaper
