I just reamembered that i did not see more then 1.4 bar boost,before was 1.6. Not 100% sure but i think i lost somewhere 0.2 boost,probably i got a leak. I just expected that i will smoke him big time,i was surprice how he hold on me till around 170

I raced an 8V Scirocco track car with approx 140bhp when my car was running 260bhp and there was nothing in it. Weight, power loss and not revving the stock turbo too hard all make a difference. Stock turbo is useless past 6500.

I for one, am surprised he didn't win.
If you take 20% from your power (because of transmission loss) you will have, let's say, 228 HP at the wheel (I know quattro looses 20-25% from the engine hp??!!? )
The Clio will only loose 10% from the engine power.So:

228 hp you ---- divided by the weight of the car / 1700----> 0.134 hp per kg
177-hp clio ---- divided by the weight of the car / 1240 ----> 0 .142 hp per kg

I didnt know that my mate filmed during the race,now i see i start pulling from 2nd gear but not so fast
U can hear how late did i spool up ( u can hear the turbo whistle when i get in boost )
Simon,i agree i need to lose some weight me and pasanger had 200+kg together,clio driver only 50ish

Well,my friend also made a video when i was accelerating,and like i toth,i was boosting till 1.4 so basicly i have a leak since my car boosted till 1.6 . I am surprise thatbi even won the race like this [emoji15]

Your car is faster, end of story. But with OEM ECU ???
Is it possible that the car does not overboosting because the outside temperature is too low?
