I got that mag aswell, was expecting a lot more information on S2s and RS2s after reading a good write up on the Audi 80. Bought the mag just for this- bit disappointed. Not a bad magazine tbh.

Just read the article at lunch. Not bad. Too much about the theft of his S2 avant but it did get him an RS2 front bumper.

A couple of points:

1. He mentioned that Notelle cut and re-welded his stock S2 exhaust manifold during the "tuning". Never heard of that before. Any one with a photo of one of these re-worked Notelle exhaust manifolds?

2. He thinks he saw an RS2 sedan in Budapest: " a very small number of RS 2 saloons were manufactured. They are rare and I have only seen one on the road, in Budapest".

Hmmm.... Only 4 known RS2 sedans made. I suppose because Audi/VW had (has) an engine factory in Hungary, it is possible that somebody from Audi did have an RS2 sedan and had it in Budapest. Sort of like stumbling onto two albino unicorns doing "it" at the side of the road.
