Audi Coupe quattro "dogleg" gearbox

Hello,

I have bought donor car for breaking and it has "dogleg" gearbox. Wanted to know how worth it is? It shifts good, it is a bit noisy but that's normal for it.

I found code underneath it - CBR.

Interesting, where the gearbox code is written originally for S2? From upper part where it connecta with motor I can't. This code was from under.

Sorry I just realised I made a mistake, CGR is S2, CRB is RS2

CBR is a regular 5 speed box from Coupe/80/A4 quattro.

Not that regular. AAH only at least on 80/coupe.

Are you sure it's a dogleg pattern? 1. gear down? Must be a custom box or wrong shifter setup

Yes all gears are reversed from the way it should be. 1st is where the 2nd should be and so on. Any thoughts of the value maybe?

Box is used with wrong type of shifter mechanisme/setup. 99% sure

I was a bit incorrect. I attached photo of the gear order.

Looks like a flipped linkage/pivot.
