    Avant ABS Sensor help

    Hi guys

Can i have some help please? As you may have read I am refurbing the rear of the avant and it has come to the time to get the old ABS sensors dealt with. I for one dont understand what I have to buy or any of this malarkey (good job my brother is helping me but he has told me to research intot he replacement options).

    I have read the below:

    search wabco abs sensor !

No need to worry about destroying them when refurbing hubs next time."

So, can anyone give me any part numbers for guidance? And exactly what I will need to order to do this??? Remember guys it is an ABY Avant, rear ABS sensors.

A MASSIVE THANKYOU in advance for all the help with this.

Tonks can supply the land rover abs sleeves, or ebay

I would be tempted to try a B5 A4 Quattro ABS sensor as you can get them cheap on ebay.

If the ABS ring on the CV joint is ok, then yes you should just need a new ABS sensor and a new sleeve. Some people also just buy a compatible sensor, and cut and solder it onto their existing wiring.

I had to drill the last couple of ABS sensors out, then mangle the sleeve out, small wire wheel was great for cleaning out the hole as well (it will have normally closed up with rust you need to remove or the new sensor will jam going in.
