if you're a golfer bring your clubs, otherwise lots of burns stuff; cottage,museum,culzean
castle, turnberry (now owned by d trump), get a trip round ailsa craig or over to isle of arran on the ferry from ardrossan, keep away from the mars bar suppers, get yourself a dressed fish supper from the wellington cafe near the shore, etc,etc , it's also got its own Audi dealership, buy doubtfull you'll see too many audi from last century...

depending where you're driving from try the road from douglas to cumnock to ayr, j12 m74 I think

A place called sandy lands holiday park. Nice to just chill out

A slightly longer way would be to drive to Stranraer along A75 and up the coast nice drive or on the way back go down the coastal route and then head through New Galloway very nice area and nice roads

nice indeed but watch that a77 northwards as it's littered with average speed cameras to kill your fun!
