S3 8L Adjustable rear control arms

    Hi guys,

My son has just bought an S3 8L, it has been lowered with eibach coilovers. I notice that the rear wheels seem to be cambered more than usual. Is this an issue? Should we do something about it? And are adjustable rear control arms what we need to sort it?

Also, will we need 2 pairs of control arms to adjust camber and toe, or will there be enough toe adjustment in the system already?

    Cheers for the help!

I've had the KW adjustable arms for some years. They just replace the lower arms, and the toe can be adjusted as normal.
The bonus with the KW adjustable arms is when a spherical bearing fails the adjuster will snap, rather than the arm itself IME.

Thanks for that mate, I had been looking at the KW adjustable tie bars from DPM Performance.
We're a proper pair of drifters!

I've dealt with DPM in the past, he seemed like a good guy. I also used Eibach coilovers, replacing the KW items after problems with them, only to find that Eibach use KW dampers. I can't fault the Eibach parts, but again the KW dampers let me down, so keep your eye on them.
I found anti-roll bars make a big difference on those cars. I used R32 bars from & rear, then later upgraded to H&Rs. I also polybushed everything I could, and it made for a great handling car, until I got a Porsche.

On this topic, i also have an S3 8L... How much of a ball ache is it to replace the springs? And as i am fitting H&R,s i suppose i have to get adjustable controllarms too. Or, i might make them myself... Anyone got any drawings, meassurments or so? If i can find anything i could make a few sets if anyone is interested?
