    Cross Country Pace

I'd forgotten the ability to make progress on a cross country journey. Usually do it in a Clio 172 but the alpinweiss was in a different league! Best bit: I've got the return journey to look forward to

Not had this feeling since i sold the S2. I did an 80mile cross country trip the other day in the Leon and thought how much nicer it would have been in the S2. The sun was out, the tarmac was dry and very little traffic. The whole situation was wasted on the Seat.

Had a little boat out with the kids today to go for my 4 wheel alignment. It was okay on the way over (rear was miles out where I had changed tie rods) , but the journey back was amazing. The car drove so much better, and the kids loved being pinned back in their seats!

I never get bored of driving this car.

Yep was out in mine yesterday to the Cotswolds for lunch and a blast. Roof open, 4 up and smiles all round. Those who sell when they start spawning sprigs miss out, kids love it !

Lovely drive home and even saw a fellow enthusiast in a T plate cab with the family on board and had a moment of mutual admiration
