Nearest to an S2

So the question is: What the nearest on an S2 im matter of running gear (gearbox, transaxle ect) a Coupe Quattro 2.6-2.8 or a Coupe Quattro 2.2 (with 7A engine).

I want to know if wheel studs ect are the same and if not where are the differences. Also if the rear diff has the same ratio.

20vcq is very close to 3B, all parts interchangeable.
V6cq has different final drive ratio.

2.3L 20v quattro coupe is similar, even though it is lacking a turbo

No only S2 has 5 stud hubs. Diff is interchangeable

Can the hubs from another model be used in order to have the 5 stud pattern? Except S2 ones.

Yes S2 coupe hubs are a straight swap onto 20vcq - outer CV spline is the same. Shafts and inner CVs are bigger on the S2.

I want to find a part donor to match S2 drive-line specification and looking at options. I will buy a whole car to dismantle and I need to know what the closest is.

OK so comparing 7Acq with 3B S2, everything is a direct swap.
These parts are different:

Wheel hubs
Hub carrier (later than around 92 the bolt size increased to 14mm)
Springs
Shocks (later than around 92 the insert diameter increased)
Driveshafts (S2 has larger inner CV joint PCD
Gearbox (S2 has longer ratios)
Rear diff (different code, same ratio etc)

I probably forgot some stuff.
