    Any Honda s2000 scalps taken

Has anyone had a run in with a Honda s2000. What was the outcome.

I had a tussle with one a few weeks ago. Was pretty much neck n neck up about 80/90 then I started gaining on him. If we'd kept going I would have owned him
It had an induction kit fitted too, not sure about other mods...

I have seen that video, but it depends what engine is in the 90.standard 20v or turbo.

S2000s are reasonably swift, as Mike posted in a straight line about the same as a remapped S2. Of course they handle far, far, far, far better.

              * only with an experienced pilot onboard. They can be fairly vicious on the limit.

If just racing in a straight line it also depends on the weight of your S2.

                  S2000 is 240bhp, 1250-1300kg
                  ABYs are 1500kg+

Also if you are going from a roll or launching it.

I think the 90 is a 2.5 stroker na istr. However havingdriven a s2000 i think its a much better chassis but engine needs be pushed on a little where as with our quattro you need push on the drivetrain

Still got an S2000 and on 100% attack mode they are
quite fast. Throw in some corners and very few can follow... brilliant chassis.

Chased a supercharged fire breathing one round knockhill. It was awesomely fast and sounded bananas!

my s2 with mods just sat on the bumper of an s2000 with no issues whatsoever on a swift coombe to bristol run. i could have overtaken at many points but i didn't know the route back to the digs

my 530d msport only just lost the 0-60 against one. if it was any further it would have been me leaving him.

they do handle very well though. tighten the s2 chassis with good compliant suspension and bushing along with better brakes and theres only 1 winner.

                            Audi S20-100:6,0 or 6,1sec;
                            Honda S2000 0-100: 6,3sec.
I don't think the S2 has to be remapped to match the Honda. Stock one should be quite equal. Mapped S2 should be noch chance for the Honda.
The Audi has got longer transmission, but far more torque over a very wide rpm band. And with 4wd , driver is able to use it at start.

the s2000 is very able through the corners with a good driver. my mate is a great go-cart driver as it proved at coombe on the stag doo i was on. he drove the s2000 the same, very well. in a straight line id expect the s2 to win.

on reasonable dry roads a good s2000 driver will be a good match for a chipped s2 i feel. 400+hp sorts that issue so long as the s2 stops and corners better than stock.
