Diff lock and abs light?

Hi guys

You all know I've been doing a refresh on the avant... Hopefully final question time.

Just taken it round the block, when I press the diff lock button is the abs light supposed to come on, on the dashboard? When I hit 20mph the diff switches itself off and the abs light goes off too.

Is this right?

yup. ABS is disabled when diff lock is active

I now have a very big grin on my face as it seems the car can be taxed again and I can go get the camber and tracking done and get back to driving her.
