Anybody had a run in with one of these yet? I claimed a scalp tonight on the way home; don't think the owner was too impressed!
I thought my car had developed a slight boost leak/N75 issue but after tonight I'm not so sure.
Apparently the book 0-60 time is 4.9 seconds!?
Well happy with the result anyway, until we slowed down for traffic I thought it was a TDI

Quite like these new saloons, they'renot HUGE like so many modern cars.

Manual trans 0-60 times are as BS as MPG figures.

I must admit, I had a double take after I realised what it was. I know the book times are poop but I'll spin a good yarn over a pint later on

yeah, i got roasted by one of those things a couple of months ago - my old s6 had to pull over and let him past!!

Each time i go into the showroom for parts and see the A3 i think i would buy one tomorrow if i had the money.

I really like them and imagine they are a hoot to drive!!

when we were on the homeward stretch of the west coast run last weekend, we stopped off for a bite to eat. as i pulled up, a woman in an s3 next to me told me that she was on her fourth one! quite nice she was too . .
