    Spilt Paint in my boot

I've got an elasticated cargo net in the boot, and it was stood upright under that, but somehow tipped over and the lid came off
The first I knew was when I tried to open the tailgate to put our hand-luggage in, as we were leaving for Bristol Airport and found the tailgate was stuck down solid. As you can imagine- I've got zero time to do anything about this until I got back home this evening, six days later (and it's dried solid)

Probably about 3 litres of white emulsion, which has gone everywhere but mostly soaked into carpets- so, any suggestions how to get it clean?

I've presently got one of the clip-in sections of the side of the boot sitting in the kitchen sink, having got most of it out by scrubbing, but it's taken forever to do just a small section..... (and She's Not happy about it!!!)

TBH probably best to try and find some replacement trim, you will really struggle to get that out completely.

Takes ages clean emulsion from a brush (I done lots of painting recently!)
Soaking in water and then a jet wash maybe?
Other than that it's replacement as suggested above.
      What colour carpet?

Cheers for your replies Lads- went to work early this morning and lifted out the boot floor panel, which is black carpeted. The steam cleaner has done a cracking job of cleaning it, but you wouldn't believe the trail of white water that came out of it!!
I think I can get it all clean, it'll just take time. (Biggest problem is the aluminium rails either side of the boot have funneled some paint under the rear seat base (which doesn't fold up) so that's gonna be a pain

no luck. I had a big tub of emulsion in a backpack years ago(dont ask why) and when i went to take it out, the tub was empty but the bag was full.haha. Plastic paint tub had cracked. I was even annoyed, it was a really funny situation unlike yours!
