    034 Motorsport...pretty slack.

S4 fuel pump bit the dust. This is my wifes car/ family wagon etc so need it back on the road ASAP. Local oem is $1200 after market on backorder so I decide to get the Bosch 040 pump drop in upgrade for a B6 from 034. I pay for priority shipping ($50 more) as it will arrive in 3-4 days. Also send a courtesy email detailing the order and urgency.
12 hours later I receive an email saying my order has shipped and I think, what good service as I have heard good/bad stories. Check the tracking and it has been sent ECONOMY! 8-10 days to arrive.
Have since sent two emails requesting a refund for the difference and voicing my displeasure and have not had a reply.
It has been three days now.
Ok, not a major stuff up but a pain in the a** as anyone with three school age kids and a business and now one car would know!

    Agreed.

It is the little things that make the difference, one way or the other.

I've found they tend to ignore email requests, even when it's for quotes that will earn them some business. Best to call them.

Usual 034 quality - I bet the following reply will be they sent something wrong or it doesn't work

Yeah right, I'm not going to the effort to call them in the middle of the night (I'm in Australia). An email should be enough.

Well that is really unfortunate as I had planned to spend a decent chunk of my build budget with them. I don't have the time really to chase up mistakes.

Like I said, i've heard good and bad. I'm over it now. Don't care about the extra $50 they owe me. Just won't buy there again.

If you get time to call them talk to Samuel. He handles their customer service issues and took care of my problem fast once I spoke with him. It seems they get burried in emails and don't have multiple people to handle the cusomer service end of things. I sent an email when I had a problem with my brake lines and didn't hear anything for 3 days so I called. Thats when I spoke to Samuel and he told me straight up that he saw my email but had not got to it yet. Still after speaking with him he handled everything fast and very well.

I was promised a refund from them for some rods they send me that didn’t fit (so i had to pay to have them machined and balanced) i send them the invoice etc, then they tried to offer me a "store credit" for half what the work cost!

i wont be using them again, it was about 6 months from paying for the rods to actually getting them fitted as I didn’t want to go ahead with the work without the promise of a refund, or incase they wanted me to return the rods for a replacement.

I wont buy from them again.

If you need to order something from 034, order it through Marc at EFI express. He will make sure the dropped shipped order is correct, and if it isn't he will make sure it is corrected, properly.

EFI Motorsport is a company dedicated to providing quality upgrade parts, hardware, software, tuning, and service for a range of European vehicles.

I do this even though I am in the same state as 034. Marc is a great person. It throws a few bucks his way and I don't have to pay sales tax. He has helped me out with a few things over the years.

They can have my car when they pry my cold dead fingers from the steering wheel.

Yeah, ok thanks man. 034 did refund me eventually which I appreciate. Good to know about Marc. I will be buying a few things from him soon (injectors, vems etc). Did he end up selling his v8 turbo coupe?
