But he knows nothing about cars... All he can do is buy ones that people tell him are a good investment. I do like him but can't see him pulling this off. Sorry, but Evans is irritating beyond belief especially with his scared sycophantic posse and how wonderful his life is. Another C list celeb in my eyes. TG was all about the relationship between the 3 presenters. Funny thing is how Evans splits opinion of people!Comment

I've met a couple of people who know him and say he's a very nice bloke. He definitely has charm but I don't understand why he's doing Top Gear...it's not like he needs the money. In fact a million a year is chicken feed to anyone who has spent £23 million on a Ferrari 250GTO.Comment

He seems incapable to treat anyone he works with as an equal.Plus unlike Clarkson knows very little about cars. it will be interesting to see who they put him with. Jody Kidd has been mentioned.
Nothing can stay the same and maybe a change is whats needed but Clarkson May and Hammond made the show the biggest thing the BBC had and its made more money worldwide than anything else they have sold.
If I owned a TV company and had that kind of format and those presenters and made millions of pounds out of it.Would I kill the goose that laid the golden eggs ?.......Would you ?Comment
