    Meet my dog...

...and take a good look at him before I drop him off at the corner Chinese takeaway to enhance their menu.

I stripped the rubber mounting grommets out of the intercooler on my RS2 to respray it, and a few days ago I caught the little shyte strutting out of the workshop tossing one of the grommets in the air, ever so chuffed with his new chewy toy. I managed to retrieve it without any teeth marks, but yesterday when I wanted to re-assemble the intercooler, the same grommet was missing. There can only be one suspect.....
Apparently, according to my other half, I shouldn't leave parts lying around in their own marked plastic trays on the floor next to where I'm assembling the motor in my own workshop where dogs are unwelcome...

That's a peculiar looking beast (to my eyes at least). What breed is it?

Holy cow you shaved your dog!!! Is that not punishment enough for poor poochie? lol

When i was doing the rear bushes ont eh back of my Avant i caught poochie eyeing up the loose handbrake cables... i put a stop to that. I also caught my Rust bucket (he's called Rusty because he is a red lab) carrying my big red screw driver in his mouth.... Luckily i called him and he trotted back into my garage and dropped it next to me. Maybe he was hoping he could pass me tools and was demonstrating his helpful ability???

Oh and on saturday morning he ate the rug by the back door in the house!!!!

He's a black Chinese Crested, and as you can see he only has hair on his head, legs and tail. He's about the size of a Jack Russel.
He's got a great personality, but then again you need the personality if you look like that.
Even though he has a box full of toys to play with, he finds huge enjoyments from obscure things: a leaf, plastic bottles, a twig, rubber Audi parts...

I know dogs and prized cars are a no-no for probably most owners but I've always had my two German Spitz with me- constant companions- they've never been destructive just occasionally muddy pawed but being little they sit on a blanket on the back seat. Also useful-they set off barking, like canine car alarms, if anyone approaches my motor!!
If I'm changing over a set of wheels however, invariably they'll have generously watered the stack of wheels just prior to my fitting them...

My old german shepherd destroyed the heated washer jets from my mk2 golf many years ago.. I couldn't find it then started to find kettle bits etc... I wouldn't have been without her though...

I used to have a Chinese Shar-Pei, lovely dog, used to love going in the back of the car for rides. When I had my Grey 80 Sport, I took the rear seats out and put them in the lounge while I tried to fit the rear B5 S4 ones. Taking a break halfway through, I walked back into the lounge and he was sat on the seat base of old ones looking at me as if to saw, right, where are we off to...

He loved the first cabriolet I had though, much preferred trips out in that!

Cool dog, I've never seen one of those before.

My Staffie is much the same, he's got a big box full of stuff to destroy but if I'm working at home he'd much rather make off with any components I'm using that are in the slightest bit chewable. I then have to pretend to be using one of his toys to work with to get back whatever has taken his fancy, he really likes exhaust rubbers but bushes are his favoured item.
