Nice meeting you Andy, some good snaps you got there
Hamish did 162mph on the kilometre so was flying. I managed a 10.7@143mph on Sunday morning but unfortunately I was plagued by missfire problems after that, eventually it was sourced down to low battery voltage and a bad spark plug.
All considered it was a good weekend even if we did get rained off on the Sunday.

Love the event. I have been going for 10 years now and competing for 3. Its only £100 to run all weekend and you have the drag, top speed and handling.
I had godfather duties on the Sunday so it was Saturday only for me.
Car was going the best it ever has. Managed to run 162.763mph in a standing kilometer.
Ran a few drag runs but didn't make any changes from the handling circuit so ran with road legal tyres with full pressures and diff unlocked. Still managed to run a 10.9 @ 132mph.
Handling circuit was very good fun as there is nothing to hit if it goes wrong! A little short to get the car going properly. Had a nice little drift in this run whilst learning the layout.
Should get more guys along next year and perhaps put a team together? Camp the Saturday night and have a few beers?Comment
