Never ever use city link. I bought a pair of rear hubs off of a guy on here. Paid for them including postage and they never arrived. Contacted city link with the tracking number I'd been given and they had no trace of them! In other words there'd lost them!
Best part was that it was up to the seller (who's done nothing wrong) to chase up the claim to get my money back but sadly he never followed through with it even though i continually pleaded with him for over a month. He eventually just stopped replying. So am now down a pair of hubs as well as a chunk of money.

Over here there are other options now as well. One is Kiala where you drop the parcel off at a local shipping point and the addressee collects at a chosen local pickup point. Works well and is cheap. Maybe there is something like this in the UK as well?

yes plenty.Hermes is the best though I have found,dirt cheap and I think they are the most reliable out of ALL the companys,I just cannot fault them and have sent hundreds of parcels with them


As for parcelforce when things go wrong its just a waste of time trying to find out what happened to the parcel(they lost 2 of mine in the space of a month a couple of years back).I still use them though as I dont know of another company that will take a car bumper(and much bigger sizes) to pretty much anywhere in the UK for less than £12,theyve been good thankfully since the losses

Did you consider your parts were never sent in the first place? Sounds odd the seller never chased up the claim despite you pleading with him to. Hhmmm.
