Check here https://www.gov.uk/check-vehicle-tax.Just checked. The car is not showing but there is a phone number you can call the DVLA on to get details.

I have used it in the past. They can tell you if the car has been scraped, exported, or the last time it was taxed.

What was the result of your call to the DVLA ? Did they confirm it had not been scrapped or exported?

They said I need to fill in

Hmmm... I've just checked through the form... what criteria do you not meet? After all, you don't need the name and address of the current registered keeper, juat some generic status of the vehicle itself...

If it were me searching the information, I could come up with a scenario to give as a reason for wanting to know the details...

If you put the reg here:

You will find it "may be for sale". This means it is no longer taxed / attached to a car. (For example, use your own current car reg and it will give you the details of the car...)

I think it's likely that the car, for which you are searching, has gone to the big scrapyard in the sky...
