The meguires stuff is pretty good... Im sure the Polishing Frenchman will be along at some point to give some advice in his area of expertise...

Either that or Ryan with his knowledge of what to use on high end cars!

There's lots of decent hard-waxes out there so just depends on price and durability you're after really.

IMO i'd look at - http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/wax/do.../prod_405.html or http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/wax/ch.../prod_337.html for yours.

Cheers, Andy. That's more the sort of money I was hoping to spend. Ideally I'd like something that lasts a while, as cleaning cars is less appealing to me than spannering or driving them

This has a reputation for being the most durable wax around, not the easiest to buff off, but it will last.

              http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Collinite-...item3ce501b736

Then just keep it topped up with this, the easiest liquid wax to use, you can do the whole car in half an hour

I'm very happy with the Fusso Soft 99, extreme water repellent.

This. I have used collinite for years. Good value, lasts for bloody months and looks good too if the car is prepped properly. I am on my second tin. First one lasted about 5 years doing multiple cars!

Any decent wax will bead or sheet like that if prepared correctly.

(Plus it is on a Porsche with a sloping bonnet!)
