Really want to try and get to it this year - I've seen in past years that Forum members have arranged mini meets / BBQ etc... is similar happening this year?

Looking for advice on tickets too... want to camp and for the full duration. What's best, where to buy tickets, etc...

My brother in law and I have booked tickets just...you might find tickets for camping hard to come by except for beausejour which is a walk to the village and paddock etc...

Another question. Driving down, what route do you take? Can you avoid any of the extortionate French tolls?

To avoid the french tolls you just have to avoid the freeway.
The country roads are toll free.

True, but if you avoid all of them the journey time (for me) seems to get to 9 hours!

It seems that some of the motorways are way more expensive than others. I'm not against avoiding all thd cost, just trying to make it a little more reasonable!

I think I'm going to have to sit down for a couple of hours and calculate specific routes. Times and costs... joy...
