E approval code on S2 or RS2's?

Hi all,

I was wondering if our S2 and RS2's already came with an E / EC approval somewhere
on the body?

Like for example: e1*2001/116*0254*10 or something like that.
Or maybe another E number or proof.

Can't find it on a quick look, but maybe somewhere else...

We don't need COC documents anymore over here in Belgium, as long as there is proof that it is an EU conform product.

Yes indeed, that e13* .... number.

I currently have a RHD '95 S2 Avant and it doesn't have it on that plate...

bit weird that the RS2 does have it.

it states 04202 46V on the place of the type approval ... probably nothing E or EU

I'll bet that you do have it. Not in the same location as the RS2 on the firewall but on the inside of the right front fender behind the S2 airbox.

The 12 New Zealand new RS2's don't have that plate. Maybe it's something to do with RHD and which market the car is meant for?

Nik: did any of you NZers check behind the airbox? I found the C4 plate on my V8 avant on the fender behind where the normal S4 or V6 airbox would be (but there is no air box on a ABH V8).

The RS2 ARGE plate is usually up on the right side of the cowel (at least on an LHD RS2)

Thats exactly where i found my plate, but i'll check under/near the airbox for more.
