Yeah, it's well worth a subscription...I was sceptical at first but have the past five issues and there's at least one feature relevant to lovers of the original I5 in each. Plus it's interesting to keep abreast of what people are doing with new stuff and a generally very well put together and written magazine.

opying the magazine would indeed be bad, but perhaps just a copy of the contents page as a taster. I think that's what Audi Driver and a few other publications do and it serves well to draw you in

I bought the first issue and was slightly interested, flicked through the second in WHSmiths, didn't buy and haven't even looked at it since so .....
have I made a big mistake?

It struck me that the cars were pricy new models that then had tens of thousand spent on them, not the real world in my mind and I do like some reality !
Was I too hasty?

I just paid for a subscription yesterday or the day before, good read, and it's only £30 for 15 issues, and their debut warehouse event/expo wasn't bad at all!

There are a lot of very expensive project cars featured but I guess that's what a large proportion of young chap's these day's aspire to owning...I started driving in 1999 equipped with a 1.3 MK2 Golf and lusted after an S2 as soon as I learned of their existence. Obviously I enjoyed reading about the cars and what could be done with them even though back then you could buy a small house for that sort of money.

My folks have 2010 RS6 and my father loves reading about what can be done with some of the new machinery, though any such upgrades have been vetoed by mother.

To be fair considering how rare and old our cars are I reckon they get a good amount of coverage.
