I've had a busy day at the workshop on Saturday. Amongst a number of services brakes mots etc I had to swap all the shocks and springs and all front arms on my brothers old A4 1.9 tdi. I'm really pleased with the result sits nicely and handles so much better. Not bad for a 16 year old car with 190k on her.

I'm sure it's been done I think a set of s4 17inch Avus would really suit this but on a budget the 16s were perfect..Comment

If it were mine I'd have gone for some boleros but my brother didn't have much disposable income at the time. The car was supposed to be a cheap almost "throw a way " car. But like many audis they get under your skinComment

They are a good compromise. I'm surprised how much they firm the ride up compared to the 16s though. Much much more of a difference than flicking between 17s and 18s on my B6
