What sort of cost is involved in building these beauties ? Or buying one ? A nice properly constructed road going one . I don't intend to build one as I nowhere near have the skill or technical knowledge. Was just interested to know .
Came across these people too whilst my nosing around on the Internet.
29K Euro's almost seems too cheap considering the amount of work involved and the rarity of some of the parts, plus without a cage it's effectively a 'cut and shut' no matter how well it's been done.
I'd have thought a good replica would cost in the region of £50K here in the UK, that's an educated guess
1990 B3 2.0 80 quattro.
1992 C4 2.8 Avant quattro
1994 MTM RS2.
1998 B5 TDI quattro Sport.
2000 B5 TQS.
They wanted £20k to build just a Kevlar panelled shell painted but I had to supply the base car.
Even original sport Quattro are cut and shuts done by baur.
Somewhat confusing. Initial headline figures state comes with 450-500bhp engine. When you click on the pictures, it tells you car comes with only 350-400bhp. Quite a difference in performance and the costs involved of parts to get the difference can be quite considerable.
What a bunch of Idoits , I contacted them last year.... spoke with 2 different people who kelped on qouting differnt prices, they do not sound very professional to me

Yes your quite right the original cars are effectively cut and shuts all be it done very well by a highly regarded engineering company who will have worked how to put it together and strengthen the shell in a way that conforms to OE standards.
There's no reason that can't be replicated with access to an original car to see what's required and take dimensions from, the Dialynx conversions aren't cadged either and I guess even the original design could be improved upon...
Did you go ahead and get these guys in Lithuania to construct you a shell?

How on earth is it possible to create a perfect, as new replica of a Sport Quattro for €29,000, the parts, the shell, the engine, the paint, that mint Recaro interior, the labour... doesn't add up to me. And the fact they want installments as they produce the car seems suspicious. I've spent more than that modding my RS2, if this is for real then am I a chump?!?
Edit: ...on the road MOT'd and insured!!!

I've seen 2-door 80s go for ~200, and Coupes for under 1000 euros in Lithuania. AAN for ~1500, Recaros like in the pictures ~200. Taking a B4 Coupe Q as the running gear donor, that would also add ~1000. Let's say another 1000 for the wheels and tires. Lights ~200. Everything else is mostly made by themselves so leaves more than 20k for labour and raw materials. Seems rather doable to me.
Note that I am in no way associated with the company making these, I just happen know the eastern European market prices.
