Lovely car, credit to you. Be interested to know how you get on with the anti surge housing.

    Cheers

Great looking car. Should be a great drive when finished. One of the few cars I've seen that looks as clean as Darren's

Wanted a Sachs clutch!! But Sachs say they no longer do them for the RS2

        Any recommendations for a clutch?

Is there anything I have forgot?

I cannot take any credit for the spec of the engine rebuild, I just have a shopping list

I am sure there will be lots of other recommendations out there from people with a hell of a lot more experienced than myself
I have pretty much the same setup as you - only with gt3071 and .63 exhaust housing. Oh and standard head on my urs6. It was dyno'd at 413hp. Pete Berry built my engine too. Finally, I had an organic Sachs clutch put in -sourced from Germany. They have a lovely light standard feel.

The gtx3071r is a 550 bhp compressor. You really wanted a gtx2867r for up to 450bhp. Car like mint.

What would the spool up times of the gtx2867 and gtx3071 be? Seems like having your cake and eating it if a gtx28 gives that sort of power from 3k revs (if it is that) onwards..

Reports seem to be the gtx3071r spools and makes power like a gt30r in real life. A gt30r will be about 500 rpm more laggy than a gtx2867r. I really liked my gtx2867r when I had it.

Don't rule out MD357 for 450-500bhp. Ask Darren (DJones)
